Audi 25 years of quattro®

Why this campaign is so special to me.

Because we travelled around the world with a very small team (without the client, from S&S, it was just me and the team around the photographer Kai-Uwe Gundlach).
In just 20 days, we travelled to extreme, challenging and exciting places, we ate things that we had never eaten before and we met so many interesting people.
A big thank you for the great support from my team, and the great confidence placed in me by Benny and Harald.
After this trip, I understood the phrase "the soul does not travel as fast as the body". That's why the making-of book came into being.

The campaign

Taklamakan Desert, China | Transport road (for oil) through the biggest sand desert of the world.
It used to be the most expensive road in the world because thousands of people had to clean the sand off the road every day.

Cotopaxi, Ecuador | Street to the highest active volcano in the world. We waited for 2 days at 5000 metres for this cloudless moment.

Tibbbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road, Inuvik, North Canada | The longest iceroad in the world. We were there for just 2 days before the trucks came.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, Louisiana, USA | The longest motorway bridge in the world. It was Thanksgiving and we ate turkey sitting in the middle of the road.

Pan-Americana, Big Sur, USA | The longest road in the world.

Silkroad, near by Urumqi, China | The oldest intercontinental trading route in the world.

Nanpu Bridge Ramp, Shanghai, China | Curviest access road to a bridge in the world.

Pikes Peak, Colorado, USA | Road to the highest finish line in the world.
